Kyeemagh, NSW, AU. JP135 Hydrofoil, SB GTR 650 front wing 255-2 rear. 20-23kn NEer, gusty and patchy but some really strong wind channels at times. Interesting session on the new smaller front wing for the first time - super lively and fast downwind!! You can feel it release with the gust compared to the 800 wing which seems to hold back a little. Smaller wing seems to prefer being on a broad reach with a bit of tilt on the board. On the straight runs parallel down the runway, it seemed to get speed wobbles, occasionally veer to one side and often lifted to breaching point. One high speed 'dismount' over the front resulted in me about 1m underwater upside down, I came down that hard Yell!!

Got there a bit late for most of the slappers, but good to see Remi and Fez carving it up. Great sailing with Dieter, looked fast down the runway and always so composed compared to my 'bouncing dolphin' stance. Must be several PB's in there for him!!

Dieter, Jules, your numbers are so close, well done.

I was thinking how hard it would have been in that breeze that didnt know what it wanted to do (strength, direction, the lot).
