It's finally official! 30.192 Knots for 2sec on my foil ! Cool

So happy to have finally achieved the milestone. Thanks for the beer Bryson, the comraderi Walt Jules and hopefully the drone footage Jeremy!

So happy that I stopped sailing in the shitty conditions, massivly gusty and lumpy in the river today.

Last run of the session, after a bit of a fall... got back up, and 'send it' not even that deep downwind after it shifted 90 degrees from SSW to ESE.... 15 to 25 knots with some earlier gusts in the 30s.

This session makes it a PB (foil) for 2sec and PB (foil) for alpha, and KM PB (foil) yesterday, makes for a pretty good 'weekend'!

Spent more time speaking with the gang, good to see so many sailing today! Can't wait for the promised NE's again.

Sans Souci, NSW, AU

FMX 98 - Loftsails 6.3 - 32/31 fin

Someone said the tide was going out all day Surprised. Glad we went to the "speed strip"early as the tide kept going up and up... Btw speed strip was well submerged and by the look at the track nowhere near it.

Great to see a spot packed with keen windsurfers out numbering any other water fanatic.

The summer of Southerly continues.

Georges River, 20-32kn S (with SW/SE swings). Started on Goya Quad with NP Combat 4.7m but underdone, so changed up to the Cpmbat 5.6m Fun sailing but couldn't really find any ramps for bump and jump as wind angle was wrong so changed to Falcon 101 with NP racing 5.6m. All I can say is challenging. Never quite got in the slot. Great to get out sailing with many regulars - Remi and Rick blasting out the back, Oliver going well on his 4.2m in challenging  conditions, Lucas trying to monster a 7.0m, and late appearance from Berowne casually putting in about 40 minutes and topping 30kn for the first time on the foil. Massive effort!!

Very Happy for you and the team Berowne: all your commitment, talent and smashed boards have paid you back with a great achievement, you are one of the very few in Australia to have reached the 30s on a foil !!

Wohooooooo !!!

And Remi exceptional speed on the fin in that difficult place, at another level !
