On the water early, to try and get distance, but never got going properly with 5.8m sail in the moderate wind.

Came in for lunch and wind picked up. Did not want to change sail so messed around with speed board and 90l board but y then 5.8m was too big and I was too tired.

Great to see so many Pinnas flying. Lookng fwd to seeing the posts.

Coodanup, WA, AU. Started earlish on 6.3 hoping to score the bext wind/tide combo but was undercooked and wind up/down.   Finally started to boot but made the mistake of heading in to change down to new 5.2 toy.   New toy was good but didn't translate to more speed so played around with Alphas. Still glorious nice day with many out.   I'm guessing it was Firie standing on a chair in the middle of the weed taking photos??   iSonic86, KAR6.3/5.2, FF18V4

Doesn't anyone work anymore?  I thought Coods was going to be for the retirees today: Ricey and Flex and Decrepit and Waricle but then all the workers turned up!  Anita and Boz and Woody and Ant and Richo.  There should be some speedy posts.  I stupidly decided to have a go at the hour.  OK I did a PB but after an hour of hanging on for grim death I was knackered and could only manage a few speedy type runs.  One of them was my second quickest on the JP 45 Speedbard and 5M Mach 3.  All in all a fantastic day for everyone.  I could tell that all the workers were very happy not being at work and I think theri times will indicate why.

Nice session out with a bunch of Pinnas and others. Doesn't anyone work around here?  Good to catch up Ant, Lunny and Ricey and had a bit of a chat with Anita. Felt faster than I got on the Carbon Art 48speed board with 6.1 Loft Racing Blade. Got some work to do on my technique. Next time Richo!!

Coodanup, WA, AU Nice day with a bit of wind, lots out enjoying the flats. Was planning to do Liptons in the arvo but was having too much fun in fancy’s backyard. Great to see Jesper and Lunny come down for a sail plus all the normal reprobates. Nice catching up with Glenn in the morning and as per prediction was always going to be windier at Liptons. Nice to share the stoke with a couple PB makers as well. 52 AV KAR 5.7

Great to see Lunny and Jesper back. Rigged expecting the extra 5 knotts at 5 PM but the wind didn't increase that much, I could've done with a few more herbs and spices. Still a great day on the water in fantastic conditions with a great crowd.

Decided to try 'Richo's Run' today to see what naughty could be had. happy with the result. More wind would make it epic in the same water conditions and wind direction. Top afternoon with top blokes and great to sail with Lunny again. Falcon 56 Evo 5.8 tribal delta 16

Drove up from Margaret River and arrived at Coodanup at lunchtime, hoping to get the best wind/ tide combo, but once the wind booted in the tide quickly came up and the really flat water disappeared. Speed runs were through small rolling chop.

I had 2 naughty runs over 30 kn so happy with that but should have been able to do better. I was hoping for a 34 kn 2 sec, and achieved that early, close to the car parking area. Went to the top of the new naughty run hoping to improve my nm and 2 sec but went too far. It was too shallow and I got bogged down with every attempt to start. I couldn't get started and exhausted myself trying. I did enjoy watching the stingrays flapping about in the shallows chasing their meals though. I even tried waterstarting but as soon as my weight came over the board the fin sank into the sand again. I started to get worried about getting back. It is a long walk from there. I had to start deeper to get going which meant the run home and best naughty was through the chop, but I was just glad to get back without walking.  Totally exhausted now and somehow have to find the energy to drive home.

Edit. I made it home, just, had to fight sleep all the way. Still totally exhausted

That is my best 2 sec since 2020. Naughty, 2 sec, & 5x10  were all best for Coodanup, and the nm was a second  best for me.

All categories except alpha were year best scores. Early days.

I should be pleased except I am too exhausted. Maybe tomorrow

Fun sesh at Coods in some solid breeze.

Headed down after work and got on the water at 5, as most were packing up, but the conditions were still excellent.

Windtech 57 + 6.3 SCR + 20 Tribal Delta.

Happy with a top 5 5X and another mile PB (although I was hoping it was as at least a 35).

Great sesh Smile

Thanks Anita.  Good NM by the way! Laughing  It was also my 2nd best 2 sec and NM.  I wish I'd done more speed runs (more than 2) as the 35.85 seemed too easy!

Congtats Anita for acheiving the 34 kn you were after.

And great PB Hour Reg.

Amazing view as I drove off mid-afternoon looking at that windy flat water and speeding windsurfers. Unfortunately my arms and shoulders could not take advantage after sailing/messing around in the morning.

Note for next time it is windy - keep energy levels up so I can take advantage for a short time. Not like Boz, who was already sailing when I got there around 11:30 and was happily looking at 40kn+ as I left around 4:00pm. That is stamina!
