Congrats to all sailors.

Due to the lack of available approved GPS devices for posting to the GPSTC, the GPSTC after stringent testing have approved the Garmin 965, Garmin 255 & Garmin 255 music watch to be used with the following provisos:

1. Competitors must install the latest versions of the “GPSTC Approved Tbwonder Data field” or   “APPro Windsurf” (this ensures the capture of the required data)
2. Export must be in FIT Format and posted through existing approved programs (GPS Speedreader or KA72). Posts though KA72 must be ‘public'.
3. Users with other approved devices must prioritise posting with them as they provide additional  error data.

NOTES
Other newer Garmin watches using the “MediaTek/Airoha chipset (AG3335M)” will require comparison files to be submitted for checking before being added to the approved list

ALL OLD model Garmin watches remain NOT suitable and therefore Unapproved for the GPSTC
