4270 days ago Joined some coastal guys and Pinnars girl at liptons with Hardie. Got there too late but, had to drop the commodore in for a service.
When I got there the wind was still blowing, and everybody said they were overpowered on 5 somethings, so I went for the 4.4 on the 43 with the 19. First run across the bay felt great had one brief gust stand me up, so went for a NM, wind faded towards the end, and I had one hell time getting back. Should have changed up then, but I hung around hoping for another good gust. By the time I eventually had to change I didn't go far enough, should have gone with the avi 5.3, instead of the KA 5.0, would at least have made some half decent gybes.
Sorry Hards, pity to leave that lovely alpha unbacked up.

4270 days ago Tabou Thunder 70cm, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m, JP Weed 36cm.
Sweaty festering monkey balls were tongued, licked, sucked tonight
After hearing the results through the day and listening to the wind howling went out to attempt to back up Hardies Alpha.
Got down there half an hour to late as the last load of wind blew when I got there.
Dogged around trying to find enough wind to get planing got a couple of squirts but most of the time it was chugging.
Alpha was only 170m long for some bizare reason
Taping up the foot didn't really help
Oh well
