Remi Dunoyer (24497km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU Exocet RS4 - S2 Maui Venom 7.7 - 39 fin Usual crew and heaps more on the water.
Andrew (15048km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU 18-25kt NE || 94 Isonic 7.0 Titan 36 BP RS Nice and consistant NEr, warm water, few jet skis, happy times. Nigel, Remi and Dezza looking very casual out there during the peak of it. Took an hour or so to wash off a travel hangover, but after that I was loving a new combination which included the really solid BP fin - thanks Nigel! Caught up with Dave from the Breakaways who was also at the Cribb clinic the other week.
JohnM (4237km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU CA75 MSTR17 7.0 T40 Gusty noreaster. Used the new 7.0 TR17 today for the first time and what a difference compared to the old TR9.

AlfaMale (19018km): I might have found anInteresting "new" potential speed course for N/Eers at Cronulla, New South Wales, AU I've often thought that a N/E seabreeze would be off-shore up around the 'Car-Park' at north Cronulla, so today I set off from Wanda beach amoungst about 6 wave sailors and two kite surfers, and headed up-wind after a few proving runs. The trip north took about 8 runs, perhaps less, but I started enjoying some down-winders before I made it all the way. A great journey, as I saw 2 turtles popping their heads above the water (checking me out :) and only one jet-ski, ridden by a very responsible life-guard! Sooooo much better than Kyeemagh can be! Of course, if I drove a 4x4 onto the beach I could have rigged 2m from the water.... It was quite an enjoyable journey but some runs did take me quite a distance offshore which had me thinking about the inevitable (shark... etc) but the worst predator I saw today were about 4 jellies that the turtles had missed!
Up north the wind swung to cross-offshore, and the reef protected the water from those evil waves that are so loved by some and so detrimental to SPEED!. The only problem with offshore winds is, as you get closer to shore especially the NE end, the more patchy it becomes, with only the big gusts making it onto the water. Timing helps. But then... wow, some of the gusts coming through the gaps in the sand dunes were oh so very exciting. Just wish I had a few more square cm of sail... the 6.3 was a bit small, but glad I took it as my 7.7 would have been to large! Time for an upgrade!
iSonic 90L was a trouper, 34cm Techtonics Phenix proved fast enough... as long as I held the sail forward (good technique anyway) and had the mast foot a few cm forward of my prefered all the way back location... and the TRX 6.3 was great, just a touch small downwind (but a touch large in the big swell near Wanda!). All up, a great day in the sun :) It'll be interesting to see how these speeds compare to the airport crew. https://www.ka72.com/Track/t/298054

George (32558km): Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU || 18-25NE RS3/ Koncept 6.6/ MXR Wsp26-50deg, also a couple of runs with the JP 69. It was great to catch up with Tony, Keef, Akim, meet Mat the jibing machine and his windsurfing champions kids and the other locals.
Nigel (4616km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU || NE 18-29kts Rocket 115, ODR8 7, Vmax4 39 Wow, such a fun day on the water. So many out enjoying the fantastic conditions. It was perfect 7m weather and while I was fully powered up 90% of the time, I was never totally overpowered. It was pretty flat as well with only one or two jetskis. Plenty of sunbathers on the beach too :P Great to finally meet Dieter. Welcome to the team mate :) Nice to hangout with Dezza from the Gustbusters and the regular DD crew, John, Remi, Andrew, but we were missing George and Artur who are probably swatting flies somewhere in the desert (I hope it blows for you two). I took a bit of GoPro footage today, but the camera is pointing a bit low and cuts off my head. Here's Remi trying to sail one handed (or is he waving to the GoPro)
